Branching out...

CherrySoda Creations was born in 2011 under the strangest circumstances.  My insurance agent, Janice, had come to my home to review my policies.  She fell in love with a tea cup lamp I had & when I told her I had made it, she begged me to make her one too -- and she was going to pay me for it!  

I've been making gifts for friends & family for years.  Some have asked me to create custom pieces for their friends & family too.  But I'd never been approached by a stranger to make a piece, I was so excited!! 

But that was 3 years ago... 

Life got in the way & CherrySoda stayed a hobby of mine, just kind of lingering in the background.  My family grew & was growing up.  Work was paying off & I loved my career - even though it was physically & emotionally demanding, I've always known it's what I was made to do.  Then, boom! it was over, life & priorities had changed again.

I'm fortunate enough now to be able to devote a lot of time, more than I ever dreamed I could, to doing the things I love best.  Being a mom.  Playing with my dogs.  Sewing.  Baking.  Writing.  Just being.  And I love every moment of it.

So, with all this free time -- I've been a busy bee...
